The Partner Alliance for Safer Schools (PASS) has released its newest K-12 Safety and Security Guidelines intended to provide district level best practices that relate to all areas of campus safety and security. The new guidelines are broken down into five physical layers, allowing school administrators to prioritize their needs. The five layers include:
- District-wide
- The property perimeter
- The parking lot perimeter
- The building perimeter
- Classroom/Interior Perimeter
